Siren Song

Margaret Atwood (één van de meest interessante literaire creatievelingen uit Canada. Lees haar 'Katteoog' of 'De blinde huurmoordenaar') schrijft ook gedichten.
Siren Song is er daar eentje van.

Ik was al enige tijd bezig aan een stukje muziek (enerzijds opgejaagd, angstig. Melancholisch anderzijds) met bijpassende beelden.
Herinneringen aan wat nooit was. Het aantrekken tussen man en vrouw. Een afscheid. De onmogelijkheid om zaken ongedaan te maken.
Een konijn.

Op één of andere manier gaven de woorden van Atwood de nodige lichtheid (tegengewicht) en voegden ze een extra laag toe.
